Time to get out your camera, w hether
it is a new digital one or a traditional model;
whether you like to take quick snaps or set up
your tripod, we have exciting tours for you. We
will take you by sea to spectacular settings all
along Oman’s uniquely beautiful coast.
You can choose to photograph the architecture
of Muttrah and Muscat- with splendid forts, the
Sultan’s palace and the fine old buildings on
the corniche; or the natural beauty of Bander
Al Jussah and Bander Al Khyaran with their turquoise
waters, yellow cliffs and gracefully curving beaches.
At Bandar Al Khyaran, lovely Mangrove bushes offer
hidden treasures in wildlife, including rare birds
and colonies of crabs.
Special fishing photography tours will allow you
to photograph from the sea the traditional fishing
villages at Qantab, Haramel and Sidab, catching
the fishermen as they launch their boats or return
from the catch.
We will follow the fishermen out to sea to film
them as they troll the waters, spotting schools
of fish and cast their nets with age-old skills.
This will delight the fishermen and you will have
a rare opportunity for authentic action and human
shots.
Tours will leave either early in the morning to
capture the rosy light on the coast just after
dawn and the slowly brightening light of the day
– or in the late afternoon, when the golden light
of Arabia brings out the full splendour of the
sea and land.
Boats will be kitted for special photographic
equipment on request and all tours will include
an orientation to the local culture and features
of the landscape.
