The forts of Jalali and Mirani, Muscat, in 1207/1793, at the beginning of Sayyid Sultan bin Ahmad's reign. The artist William Daniell visited Muscat during that year, and this engraving from one of his drawings appeared in the Oriental Annual vol. III, 1252/1836
