Mohamed Al Riyami

Mohamed Al Riyami with Nic Robertson, CNN Correspondent on Special Assignment to Oman after reporting on Our “Dolphin Watching” trip which was later broadcasted worldwide by CNN.

No operator knows more about the dolphins and whales in Oman like Arabian Sea Safaris. Our experiences are based on Mohamed Al Riyami, who for over a decade served his country as a senior staff member at the Ministry of Information, with the principal duty of introducing Oman to visiting journalists, writers, artists, radio and television teams from around the globe.

It was a role which took him not just throughout Oman's varied terrain, from mountain settlement to Bedouin encampments and from remote fishing villages to the modern metropolis of Muscat and Salalah; but to assignments in many Western and Far Eastern capitals, where he assisted in the presentation of seminars and exhibitions on the Sultanate. He advised individuals planning specialist expeditions to a country that for so long had been closed to the world beyond its shores.

It was during such a period that he first came to appreciate the appeal and fascination Oman has for its visitors.

We wish you a wonderful time as we try to make each trip a memory to treasure.
